Where your mail goes: nowhere
imaily talks to your mail provider over IMAP, from your Mac, and keeps what it learns in a small database on your Mac. There is no imaily server. The one outside call is the AI that writes the briefing: subjects, senders and short snippets go to the AI provider under your own key. Nothing is ever hard-deleted — "bin" means your provider's Bin folder, where you can undo it.

Does it work with Gmail?
Today via forwarding into an account imaily reads (two minutes, guide inside the app). Sign in with Google is on the roadmap and in review.
Is it a mail client?
No. Keep Mail, Gmail, whatever you use. imaily is the five-minute check next to it.
What does the AI see?
Subjects, senders and short snippets, sent under your own API key to write the briefing. Turn it off and imaily still sorts with header rules.
Can it delete something by mistake?
It cannot delete at all. Everything it moves goes to your provider's Bin, and every bulk action shows a preview first.
